Our Autumn topic has focussed mainly around the Anglo Saxons and Vikings. This provided a stimulus for some excellent work. The children particular enjoyed learning about Norse mythology and the adventures the gods encountered. The children created a mythical creature of their own and wrote the ending for a known myth.
The challenge of researching, designing and making Anglo Saxon helmets was a great success. We were also delighted by the number of Anglo Saxon projects which were completed. We would like thank you for supporting this.
In Science, we have had a lot of fun experimenting with sounds and learning about electricity. The children created a range of circuits; one of which included their own switch.
Earlier in the term, Year 4 visited the Bank Head Methodist church to participate in a Bible Alive session.
