Our Autumn topic has focused mainly around the Stone Age. This provided a stimulus for some excellent work. The children particular enjoyed learning about how Pre – historic people hunted wild animals, investigating Stonehenge and examining Bronze Age burial goods. The children created a Pre-historic setting of their own and were able to write a detailed description.
The challenge of researching, designing and making a fashion costume from recycled materials was a great success. We were delighted by the number of projects which were completed. We would like thank you for supporting this.
In Science, we have had a lot of fun experimenting with magnets and forces. The children discovered magnetic objects within school and were able to investigate the strength of differing magnets.
Earlier in the term, Year 3 visited the Bank Head Methodist church to participate in a Bible Alive session.
