EYFS Curriculum
A Unique Child
Every child is a competent learner who can be resilient, capable, confident and self-assured. We strive to make your child a skilful communicator and a competent learner.
We follow your child’s key interests and teach new skills through these areas. Please let Daycare staff know of any particular interests your child has or develops throughout the year.
We keep individual learning journeys for your child full of photographs, pictures, emergent writing and observations. These will be shared with you on our open days.
Positive Relationships
We believe in fostering positive relationships between children and adults.
Your child will have a named Key Person and meet regularly in this group to support their personal, social and emotional development. This small group enables your child to be strong and independent while respecting others, understanding feelings, friendships and relationships.
Enabling Environments
The environment supports your child and extends their development and learning.
We offer your child an exciting and stimulating indoor and outdoor environment, which caters for your child’s safety and well being with resources that support and enhance play and allow first hand experiences and sensory opportunities.
