Governors
School Governors are like a Board of Directors. They meet at least twice a term and make decisions about how the school is run. Most governors are members of at least one sub-committee.
School governors have legal duties, powers and responsibilities. They can only act together, they cannot act individually. School governors are either:
Parents, teachers within the school, non-teaching staff, Local Authority representatives, Community representatives
The Chair of Governors is Councillor Denis Richardson
The Vice-Chair of Governors is Mrs L Riding.
