During the Spring term, the children have been finding out about life in Tudor England and beyond. They learned about Henry VIII and his six wives, the differences between the lives of the rich and poor and the journey’s taken by famous explorers. The topic helped the children to produce some written work of a high standard in particular setting descriptions of Henry VIIIs home Hampton Court.
We also have some budding Master Chefs in Year 4. The children cooked a variety of Tudor inspired delicacies.
As well as learning about the Tudors, the children have studied many aspects of the human body focussing on the digestive system, teeth, the skeleton and muscles.
The term culminated in our presentation of ‘Henry VIII meets Ant and Dec’. The children worked extremely hard learning the lines, songs and music. We hope you enjoyed it.
